Hi, I'm Katie Gutzmann.

If you're a rural leader, you probably have a hard time answering the question "So what do you do?" You run a business or hold down a job. You sit on the school board, chair the fundraiser, coach the team and somehow still make it to every community supper. You wear all the hats because someone has to, and you're good at getting things done.

But when you're always doing, it's hard to step back and ask whether you're spending your energy where it matters most.

That's where I come in. My Working Genius is Wonder, the natural pull to ask questions, ponder what's possible and notice what's being overlooked. I use it to create space for the conversations busy leaders rarely get to have, the ones that let you stop, pause and reflect so you can move forward with intention and purpose.

You don't have to set down every hat. You just need the space to decide which ones matter most.
