Meet Katie

Hey there! I’m Katie, a Coach for Rural Business Leaders.

This work is personal to me. I live in a small Nebraska community, and I know firsthand that leadership looks different here. You’re living, working, and serving right alongside the people who know you, care about you and your family, and see everywhere you go.

And with that comes a unique pressure. Putting yourself out there can feel uncomfortable. Admitting challenges can feel risky. Many rural business owners don’t have a space to be honest about the weight they’re carrying. That’s why I created one.

Before coaching, I spent 20+ years in marketing and freelance marketing for small businesses, and I loved helping Midwest and International businesses grow. But I found myself craving deeper conversations, the kind that create clarity, confidence, and lasting change.

That led me to pursue professional training as a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), Certified Working Genius Facilitator, and Positive Intelligence Practitioner. These tools have shaped my own growth and now support the rural leaders I work with as they become the business owners, leaders, parents and humans they’re meant to be.
