Meet Katie

Hey there! I’m Katie, a Nebraska-based Leadership Coach and Facilitator.

This work is personal to me. I live in a small Nebraska community, and I know firsthand that leadership looks different here. You’re living, working and serving right alongside people who know you, care about you and your family and see you everywhere you go.

That comes with a unique kind of pressure. Putting yourself out there can feel uncomfortable. Admitting you’re struggling can feel risky. Many rural business leaders don’t have a place to be honest about the weight they’re carrying.

So I created one.

Before coaching, I spent 20+ years in marketing, including freelance work for small businesses. I loved helping businesses across the Midwest and internationally grow. But I kept craving deeper conversations, the kind that create clarity, confidence and lasting change.

That led me to train as a Certified Co-Active Professional Coach (CPCC), a certified Working Genius facilitator and a Positive Intelligence practitioner. These tools shaped my own growth. Now they help the rural leaders I work with become the leaders, parents and humans they’re meant to be.

Outside of this work, I’m a wife, a mom to three busy kids and an active community volunteer. I also have a hand in several family businesses: a grain marketing company, a registered Longhorn herd, a real estate development company and an outdoors business that sells hunting blinds. So yes, I know what it’s like to juggle family, land and business all at once. Coaching and personal development have brought so much clarity to my own life and I’m grateful to help others find it too.
